Zénith. First edition thus, number "J.M. 371" of 400 copies specially printed for Les Éditions Jean Marguerat in Lausanne, in a fine modern French binding. Zénith was first printed as the introduction to Dalloz's alpine photography book Haute Montagne (1931). The total edition ran to 1,000 copies for sale.Provenance: Samuel R. and Marie-Louise Rosenthal (sale, Bloomsbury Auctions, London, 9 June 2006, lot 68), with bookplate - Stephen C. Massey.
