Electric Light. First edition, inscribed by the poet in the month of publication on the front free endpaper, "For Paul and Ulla, shine on, Seamus, April 2001". The recipients were Heaney's friends Paul Sullivan and his wife. When Heaney lectured at Harvard in the 1980s and 1990s, Sullivan and Ulla hosted the poet for dinner twice a week; on his return to Ireland, Heaney invited them to stay with him.
