Order of the Proceedings at the Darwin Celebration, First edition, first impression, of this souvenir guide to the extensive celebrations commemorating the centenary of Darwin's birth and fiftieth anniversary of the Origin of Species; over 400 scientists and dignitaries from 167 countries were involved. This work includes a timetable of the events and an outline of Darwin's life extracted from Francis Darwin's (1848-1925) Life and Letters (1887) and More Letters of Charles Darwin (1903), which was co-edited by Seward. Freeman notes that this edition is also encountered bound in quarter parchment; no priority has been established.
