A Collection of Rare and Curious Tracts Relating to Witchcraft in the Counties of Kent, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Lincoln, Between the Years 1618 and 1664. First edition thus, part of the publisher's "Library of Old Authors". Smith issued numerous reprints of early tracts, such as Puritan discipline works, the ballads of Captain Cox, and reports of 15th-century battles. This collection was followed in 1862 by a volume on the witch trials of New England.The tracts were printed separately and have separate title pages, but were issued as a single edition with a collected contents page.
