Mashrū'a al-madāres al-jadīdah fī imārat abū dhabi. An internal technical report, unrecorded elsewhere, for the development of new secondary schools as part of Abu Dhabi's urban development, as overseen by Sheikh Zayed in the 1970s and produced by the engineers Hussein Abbas and Ezz el-Din Fahy in Cairo.It provides a detailed examination of general architectural and design principles for the construction of schools, spanning safety requirements, water supply, drainage and sewerage, laboratories, floor plans, all the various types of rooms required, and electrical equipment. Numerous sections are devoted to health and safety concerns, and students' well-being, with ideas and projects focusing on cooling down the environment during the summer months, through centralized "effective air conditioning" and mechanical ventilation, as well as chilled water supply. The plans also showcase ideas for floors and outdoor/indoor sports facilities.
