Mashrū'a inshā' wa-hadāt sakanīah li-dhawa al-dakhl al-mahdūd bi-l-'aīn mintaqat hīli (ndūd jihām). An internal technical report and blueprint, unrecorded elsewhere, which summarizes recent studies and expected costs for urban development, carried out by the architecture and design team in the Emirati city of al-Ain. Based on directives from Sheikh Zayed, taking into account "all modern engineering methods" while "preserving the Arab heritage", it was overseen by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed. It showcases plans for low-cost housing as part of a project of urban regeneration blending economic, social, and professional goals through the contextual creation of private housing for families and bachelors, light industry, roads, and open spaces, and the implementation of the required services. The illustrations include charts of the average monthly temperature and rain fall for the years 1971-88, photographs of the undeveloped sites, and maps detailing the cultural and heritage services around Hili, which had been a site of archaeological fieldwork since the 1970s. The elevations illustrate building façades in the late 20th-century Emirati style for a supermarket, mosque, accommodation, and a children's centre, while one plan is entirely devoted to the new water supply network.
