First edition, 8vo, pp. xxxvi, 287, 1 ; two folding charts; creme printed boards backed in cloth; pictorial dustjacket; tide stain to upper corner of fore edge, dust jacket chipped with some old tape repairs along spine, upper flap attached to board, likely from old water damage, text clean and sound. Rozanov was a prisoner of the Russian Gulags for the majority of the period between 1928-1941, starting from when he was 26 years old.
