Signed by Jacques Cousteau on the first title page, inscribed, hardcovers, dust jacket 302 numbered pages, published by Flammarion, 1971, this is the French edition of this book. Many illustrations in full color. Size is 7.4 x 10.6 inches, minor rust stains on dust jacket and first title page, clip markings on frontend pages, otherwise in very good condition.
