Poems. A handsome binding, with a presentation leaf signed by Eton headmaster Edward Lyttleton, dedicated to one John E. Monins as a leaving gift. Beyond his teaching career, Edward Lyttleton was also a first-class footballer and cricketer. He scored a century for Middlesex against a touring Australian side at Lords, represented England at football in a victory over Scotland, and played in the 1876 FA Cup final for Old Etonians.
