Associated in particular with spinto and dramatic roles of the Italian repertory, he was celebrated universally for his powerhouse voice, electrifying top notes, clear timbre, very elegant and passionate singing, and remarkable performances. Lot of 12 beautiful black and white photographs of the Metropolitan Opera production of Puccini's La Boheme starring Franco Corelli as Rodolfo; stamped on verso by photographer Erica Davidson, New York.
