A Night Before Christmas Book Hardcover late 1800 to early1900s Colorful Illustrated by M.A. Donohue & Company of Chicago Decent but worn; chewed bottom front cover, yellowing, browning, page wear , spine wear for its age, all internal pages look to be complete, It is undated but likely from the early 1900's. This is a hardcover book with cloth covered stapled binding. It contains The Night Before Christmas story and also many other short Christmas stories and poems. Lovely monochrome illustrations on many of the pages. There is moderate wear on the front and back cover, mainly on the edges and corners. The colors on the cover are still very vibrant and the cloth on the spine is intact and in fair condition. The binding is somewhat tight and all of the pages appear to be intact. The pages have typical browning for the age and have a couple of small tears here and there. This is a wonderful, rare Christmas Book in collectible condition.
