New Religion. First edition, signed by the artist on the title page. This book was produced for the exhibition of the same name, held at the Paul Stolper Gallery from 13 October to 19 September 2005. The book features an opening interview by the art writer Sean O'Hagan, in which Hirst explains, "I wanted people to think about the combination of science and religion... People tend to think of them as two very separate things, one cold and clinical, the other emotional and loving and warm. I wanted to leap over those boundaries and give you something that looks clinical and cold but has all the religious, metaphysical connotations, too."
