Measuring about 5-1/4" x 8", and 413 pages long, this hardcover Russian language book is "Economic Politics of the Kennedy Administration, 1961-1963" edited by C. M. Menshikov. Dated 1964, it is published in Moscow by the Socio-Economic Publishing House "Mysl", which I believe means "Thought." My Russian isn't as good as it used to be, so I hope I've translated everything correctly. I don't have any provenance, but the presentation on the front free end paper appears to contain the editor's signature. The full text is: "To William Searle with compliments and best regards from editor Stanislav M. Menshikov. November 24, 1965." As a footnote, according to an online obituary I found, William A. Searle (1933-2023) spent much of his career "at the U.S. government Arms Control and Disarmament Agency where he worked on the SALT and ABM treaties, missile nonproliferation, and nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction and nuclear disarmament." The book is generally in solid and functional condition, but it has some dampstaining around the page edges throughout, as well as some surface rubbing and edge wear to the cover, including some scuffing and tearing at the top and bottom of the spine.
