Philadelphia, PA ? : nd later 18th century manuscript copy . Folio. Two pages, approximately 750 words, in part: “I will that my Negro Man Sharper shall serve my aforesaid Son in Law Joseph Harwood and Sarah his Wife for the full term of two years after my Decease and the Expiration whereof my said Negro Sharper shall be free.” Tuthill left a considerable estate, including three homes in Philadelphia one named “Half Moon” to Harwood, Sarah and other relatives.
