Inscribed to Theodore Gill with the authors respects. Some staining smoke and old tidelines on title page and edges of some pages. Penciled in on flyleaf is the name Lowdermilk which was a historic Washington, DC antiquarian bookstore. Lea was a conchologist, geologist, and a publisher.
