NP, n/d. 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 four leaf fold-out program of the Kreisturnfest by the Nordamerikanischer Turnerbund North American Gymnastic Union . Includes rules and guidelines for the event. The Turnfest was held in Kansas City from 23rd - 11th July, 1911. Political unrest in 1848/49's Germany brought a few thousand refugees to the United States. Many of these were Turners, who soon after their arrival started to build Turner clubs after their German models.
