Stock ID #215478 Pair of Chinese wooden Fu dogs, architectural elements, each 8 x 17 cm, decorated in red and black lacquer and gilt paint, Chinese characters in ink on the verso, paint a little rubbed and chipped, good condition. Appealing pair of Chinese Fu dogs, guardian sculptures baring their teeth, their faces surrounded on one side by a stylised sun-ray, perhaps decorative elements of a Chinese wedding-bed frame.
