[Inscribed Photograph, Signed]. A famous image of the Italian pianist and conductor, seated at the piano, facing image right. Toscanini evidently utilized prints of this image for publicity and souvenir purposes. Boldly inscribed in red ink in the lower margin: "To the Members of "Music Club" Remembrance of Arturo Toscanini (May 1944)." Toscanini performed at a benefit concert for The Red Cross held in Madison Square Garden on May 25, 1944, with an audience numbering over 20,000.
