Woodward sp? declining his invitation to deliver a lecture as the travel would take three days of his time. Barnum says he is declining scores of invitations nearer home and doesn't feel the ambition to go so far. He signs the letter P.T. Barnum, and affixes a postscript which he initials. In the addendum
