On Wings of the Evening , J, A. Duren, 1st edition Signed, Civil War, Slavery,. Condition is "Very Good". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. The book itself has 3 or 4 pages dog eared and on one of those pages the page is wrinkled ( see pictures ), as for the dust jacket I'd spend $5 and buy a bad book with a good dust jacket, on the back side there is about a 2" rip. one thing I can't figure out is the dark and light pages on the end of the book see pictures. It looks like they used 2 different papers because all 3 sides are the same, if sun bleached it wouldn't be all the way around and split evenly. On the front and back covers you will see some dark and light spots, which I see on a lot of older books, it is where the glue was put on too thick. I think I've got all the bad stuff out of the way, this book is about Love and Morals prevailed in a time of war with the help of her slaves, they are kind of like the heroes of the book. The dust jacket needs lots of help, Please look at the photos they are part of the description. Thank You for Looking at this Great Book
