Hannibal, MO: 1864 . Tall narrow broadside, 27.5 x 8.5 cm. A printed obituary for McVeigh who as a child came with his family to Hannibal, MO. He was a good moral person who, acting as if his mother were watching, found religion and became active in church. He had moved to St. Louis to work in a bank until disease struck and he returned to his fathers house in Hannibal where he died August 25th, 1864. Obituary signed in type by A. P. Foreman.
