Vintage 1961 Andre Norton Catseye First Edition Novel Dipple Series Hard Cover Rare 1st Edition Catseye novel. Seems like this book used to be in the Saint Petersburg, FL public library in a past life. “Withdrawn” is stamped on the outer pages and inside the book. All the pages are lightly discolored from age but does not effect reading it legibly. All pages seem to still be very flexible with no deterioration from age. There is some random letters written here on some of the beginning and ending pages. I did notice only one page had a tear out of an edge but not into the printing. This book has probably been through many hands throughout its life. Binding is in good shape with no deterioration. Looks great for its age. A big thing I’ve noticed is that other 1st editions have just a flimsy paper thin dust cover with the same illustration wrapped around the book, but this books binding has the illustration printed right on it, seems very unique compared to other 1st editions of this novel.
