Jobelin of dark brown morocco over wooden-boards, the upper cover with inset lacquered panel of a gemoetric colourful design and mounted glass droplet, original wrappers bound-in, t.e.g., housed within custom slip and case, these both worn, 8vo, Paris, Gallimard, 1929. *** A striking mid-century modern binding by Loutzia, the joint artistic name of French artists Marie-Lousie Poncin and Maritzia Pravaz, who spcecialised primarily in enamel work for jewerly, but were also active in creating decorative objects and fashion accessories. They exhibited in Lyon and Paris, showed work alongside noted French decorative artists such as Line Vautrin and collaborated with haute couture fashion houses, including Christian Dior.
