First edition

Degollado Teatro Arturo Camacho Becerra, Estrellita García Fernández Landucci / Gobierno de Jalisco, Secretaría de Cultura 2005 First Edition Spanish Fine hardcover in a Near Fine dust jacket. The book itself is exceptionally well preserved with a tight binding, crisp pages, and no writing or ownership marks. The only notable flaw is to the dust jacket, where the clear outer laminate has developed some areas of raised texture and light rippling, most visible under angled light. A handsome, oversized copy overall. A substantial large format hardcover printed on heavy coated stock and extensively illustrated with full color photography throughout. Bound in black cloth with blind stamped lettering on the front board and spine, housed in a glossy pictorial dust jacket. Features striking architectural photography by David Chavolla alongside historical research and text by Arturo Camacho Becerra and Estrellita García Fernández, documenting the celebrated Teatro Degollado of Guadalajara in lavish detail. Published following the extensive early 2000s restoration of Guadalajara’s iconic nineteenth century Teatro Degollado, this volume serves as both an architectural record and visual celebration of one of Mexico’s most important cultural landmarks. Richly illustrated with dramatic interior views, decorative details, murals, and restoration photography, it is an increasingly uncommon government sponsored art book that was produced in relatively limited numbers and is seldom encountered
