Russkii revoliutsionnyi plakat. First edition of the key contemporary study of Bolshevik poster art, copiously illustrated. Polonskii was director of Litizdat, the Red Army's literature and publishing department. Polonskii's study, Russkii revoliutsionnyi plakat (1925), offers a sharp analysis and critique of political posters during the Civil War" (Bonnell p. 16).
