A near fine copy (mild foxing to the top edge) in like dustwrapper (priced 13/6 to the inside flap) which is complete with no wear, tears or pieces missing but with some toning to the spine and the edges of the lower panel. First book. Published first as pieces in Astounding Magazine in 1955....the story of The Dragon in the Sea preceded Dune by an entire decade; and yet we see within it the faint impression of all the themes Herbert would explore and weave into his masterwork.
