Lovecraft served as editor and president of the organization for numerous issues. One with mentions of Lovecraft, and all of the rest with at least one contribution from him, with most consisting of his nonfiction and poetry. Some notable inclusions are Lovecraft's first contribution to the magazine, his column "Department of Public Criticism" in XIV, no. 3 (January 1915); the first appearance in print of the poem "March" in XIV, no.4 (March 1915); the poem "Ode for July Fourth, 1917" and "Editorially" (unsigned) in XVI, no. 9 (July 1917); "Little Journeys to the Homes of Prominent Amateurs" (signed El Imparcial) in XV, no. 3 and XVI, no. 9; "Astrophobos" (signed Ward Phillips) in XVII, no. 3 (Jan. 1918); "The Literature of Rome" in XVIII, no. 2 (Nov. 1918) (the second half of the essay was never reprinted); "Poetry and the Gods," a fiction collaboration under a pseudonym with Anna Helen Crofts in XX, no. 1 (Sept. 1920); and "The Poetry of John Ravenor Bullen" in XXV, no. 1 (Sept. 1925). All but one (the September 1925 issue) bound in publisher's side-stapled wraps.
