Bound in publisher's black cloth with spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with dulling to gilt at spine, light wear to spine ends and corners, and offsetting at front endsheets; light toning to contents. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with toning, light wear, shallow chip to crown of spine and rubbing to rear panel. A much nicer copy than usually encountered. Housed in a custom cloth clamshell case. The second major omnibus of Lovecraft's work first published in October 1919 in the amateur publication Pine Cones, featuring a short story about a backward Catskill killer turned asylum inmate patient who undergoes medical experiments to understand his dreams.
