Near Fine with very light edgewear, minimal creasing to spine, and moderate toning to contents; binding firm. Housed in a custom clamshell case, black cloth lined in marbled paper, morocco title label to spine. Uncommon in such good condition, even more so signed. Vonnegut's satirical jaunt through space won several rave reviews but was relegated to the status of pulp fiction. After Slaughterhouse-Five launched its author to stardom in 1969, his earlier works were reassessed and reprinted. Writing in The Nation in 2012, the critic William Deresiewics praised Sirens of Titan for its deft balance of irony, tragedy, and wonder: "In this, his second novel and his second-greatest, he achieves a sublimity he would never attempt again.
