In the deluxe binding of gilt-blocked blue cloth, with a small mandorla-shaped colour plate mounted on the front cover; all edges gilt; covers slightly bowed and rubbed; early ownership signature at the head of page 3; a few trifling signs of age and handling; an excellent copy. A bright and desirable example of the scarce deluxe edition (and undoubtedly rare in this condition). See Linder, page 427 (the first three printings are identical).
