Recently rebound in red half calf, with raised bands, gilt titles to twin black labels to spine, and marbled paper over boards. Publisher's original cloth spine bound in at rear. Toning to edges, with light occasional spotting. Presented in an attractive new leather binding. Very good. A semi-biographical novel based in part on the life of Woolf's intimate friend Vita Sackville-West, Orlando is generally considered one of Woolf's most accessible novels; basis for the 1992 Oscar-nominated movie, starring Tilda Swinton, Billy Zane, and Quentin Crisp as Queen Elizabeth, and the 2022 stage show directed by Michael Grandage.
