The text was edited by Orwell's widow, Sonia, and Ian Angus, who helped set up the Orwell Archive at University College, London. 4 vols, octavo. Portrait frontispiece and manuscript facsimile to each volume. Original blue cloth, spines lettered in gilt, blue endpapers. With dust jackets by Bernard Higton. Ownership inscription on front free endpapers; newspaper clipping loosely inserted in two volumes.
