First edition, folio (477 x 332 mm), [4], iii, [1], 28pp., Half-title. title and final text leaf with hand-coloured aquatint vignettes, 28 fine hand-coloured aquatint plates by J. Hill and F. C. Lewis after Nattes, occasional light soiling, some spotting, mainly to text, light offsetting, marbled endpapers, contemporary red half morocco over marbled boards, spine gilt, some light wear to spine and extremities, rubbed. Nattes iconic views of Bath, including the Royal Crescent, the Pump Room, and the Concert-Room, as well as general views of the city, contemporary with Jane Austen s residence in the city. The apparent scarcity of the book would appear to argue for a limited circulation. Abbey.
