Some faint smudging and small tear at right edge. Verso likewise smudged. "Dis" has been scribbled over and "embodied" underlined with black ink (by a random vandal or rogue poet?). Nevertheless a Very Good copy of this scarce piece of Kerouac School ephemera. Poster promotes a weekly reading series, this one featuring Peter Orlovsky (Allen Ginsberg's longtime partner) and Jackson Mac Low. The Naropa Institute (now Naropa University) was founded on Buddhist beliefs and practices. In 1974, Allen Ginsberg and Anne Waldman established the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics on its campus. It is described by the school's website as a "radically alternative literary space rooted in contemplative practice and experimental poetics." Not separately catalogued in OCLC as of May, 2026.
