Also in the summer of 1974, Ginsberg and poet Anne Waldman co-founded the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa Institute in Colorado, described on the school s website as a radically alternative literary space rooted in contemplative practice and experimental poetics. .
