This is the first general historical account of Newfoundland. Anspach was an Anglican clergyman who arrived there in 1799. The copy recorded by Sabin contained only one map, but two are called for on the title-page. WorldCat locates only 1 copy; in Strasbourg. Aurora. LAC - 1 copy. Montreal Book Auctions had a copy in 1970 otherwise there are no records going back to 1948. O'Dea 342c.
