Second edition; 8vo (22 x 14.5 cm); some light spotting throughout but more pronounced to prelims and title page, otherwise very good internal condition; half light brown calf with University of Glasgow armorial centrepiece in gilt to upper and lower boards, spine in six compartments with raised bands, contrasting red morocco lettering-piece in gilt, small closed tear to upper part of spine, corners and fore-edges partially frayed, edges stained yellow, very good; xxii, 639 pp.
