Joyce s sometimes erotic stream-of-consciousness masterpiece that stands today as one of the true classics of Western literature. Both red-cloth covers show tape residue and some minor damage where at one time the dustjacket protector was taped to the top and bottom edges of the boards; a touch of wear along the boards bottom edges; some tape-stain marks on both end pages; light age-tanning of page margins, o/w boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square. The dustjacket shows some wrinkling and creasing; some age-tanning on the obverse; some minor edgewear but no significant tearing or chipping -- 99% whole. Overall, book and jacket, if a bit lacking in appearance, are tight, solid and complete.
