The copyright page is identical to that of the first edition, but without the words "First Edition". On the back of the jacket, "Caretakers" is listed as 1983. The date code on the last page begins "Y4"; the binding is too tight to read any following characters. Very minor edge wear to jacket, a tear of about an inch (see photo), otherwise a very clean and nearly fine copy with an early inscription.
