The only "mainstream" novel published in Philip K. Dick's lifetime, originally written in 1959, the year he wrote Time out of Joint. Dick biographer Lawrence Sutin called it "Phil's first novel to put multiple narrative viewpoints to wild work." One of a handful of copies signed by Dick, but not numbered. This copy has the statement "First edition: 500 copies, cloth bound" on the copyright page. From the library of David G.
