This is a vintage copy of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass" by Lewis Carroll. Circa 1930's - there is no date of publication stated. "De Luxe Editions" with gilt top page edges, and a purple felt-type material on the spine. Both stories are complete and contains the original illustrations by John Tenniel. Condition: Some very light soiling to the covers. The gilt on the spine has partially faded, as has the gilt vertical line along the purple felt material on the inner edges of the covers. Bright gilt top page edges. Tiny cloth tears at the cover corners. Tears at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Neatly written inscription in ink on the front end paper. Previous owner's bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. The pages are age-toned with occasional foxing and/or smudging at the outer margins; pages 14 & 15 have staining at the outer margins. Tanning to the end papers and pastedowns. The 1st contents page has a tiny piece missing at the bottom edge. Overall the book is in Good condition.
