Good. 1st with all edition numbers 1977 HB Simon and Schuster; good+ book in good- dust jacket; jacket is complete and unclipped but has heavy rubbing and surface abbrasions on front panel and slight abbrasions on back panel; book is complete with good sound binding and little wear to boards; inside the book is signed by George R R Martin and dated 14th of January 1978; the volume bears an interesting flirtatious inscription to Dr Halina Harding - here identified as 'Lin' who the author states '... can play doctor with me anytime ...' ( excerpt from full inscription); this is a scarce copy of Martin's first book with a jacket which is in less than ideal condition; this is the original publishers rather than bookclub edition; PRICE REFLECTS JACKET CONDITION SO PLEASE DO NOT ORDER IF EXPECTING MINT JACKET; photographs available on request
