Daryl Lindsay's "Digger" Book,produced by Daryl Lindsay and Cyril Dillon at Sun Art Press,Cnr,Bourke and Queen St.Melbourne 1919.Foreword by C.E.W.Bean.Large Folio(37x25cm)Produced in an edition of 450 copies only(this is no.120.)This book is exceptional in itself,but has the added distinction of being a Presentation copy to a Mrs.Gorrie from Messers Dane,Taylor & Co(?)..also has an award to same Mrs.Gorrie from the Aust,Red Cross for military service 1914-19 pasted inside rear cover..also..has an early copy of letter addressed to Aust.Girls and Boys from King Edward penned aboard H.M.S.Renown,1920,with a relevant newspaper article pasted in..also..Front pastedown has the ghost-signs of an article/award/photo having been laid in..no longer accounted for...This book will be well packed and posted with Full Insurance,Tracking and Signature on Delivery.
