First edition, fourth impression, in a third impression dust wrapper. 352pp, with large two colour folding map at rear. Deep red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine. Top edge sprayed red. 8vo. Cloth boards a little rubbed at corners and spine tips, titles on spine a little dull. Hint of shadowing on text block edges. Moderate strip tanning on free endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, not price clipped, shelf worn, lightly toned, and rubbed at edges, more markedly so at the ends of a sunned and scratched spine. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
