With 38 colour plates and 4 pages of facsimile manuscript. Folio (10 x 13 inches). Bound in full green morocco. Inscribed on the ffep "Mr. Hughes from Susan Lushington Kingsley June 1912.. Number 203 of 300 copies, signed "F.A.S." (Fine Art Society). Printed in red and green. With 38 colour plates and 4 pages of facsimile manuscript. Folio (10 x 13 inches). Susan Lushington was the daughter of Vernon Lushington who introduced Edward Burne-Jones to Dante Gabriel Rossetti. He was known for her eccentricities and her photographs. She has here inscribed this copy to artist and family friend Arthur Hughes (1832-1915) who painted a portrait of Susan's sister, Jane. Kitty, the third sister was the model for Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway.
