Handsomely bound in black half oasis morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles and decoration to spines, and navy cloth over boards. A few minor spots to volume containing 'Lord Edgware Dies.' Marginal archival repairs to title and contents leaf of volume containing 'Ordeal by Innocence.' Otherwise a clean set presented in an attractive new leather binding. This impressive collection was issued over a two-year period and is complete as published. It includes all her published crime novels up to 1971, with a new foreword by the author in the first volume. Known originally as one of the four Queens of Crime, Christie's prominence has grown to the point where to many she is simply The Queen. This collection features many novels that changed the face of the crime genre, and are regarded as masterpieces of fiction.
