Found this in my Wifes belongings from long ago, Star Wars has come so far since then. We were so sad when she and her Mom Debbie Reynolds died back then. It will be 10 years this December. We were huge fans of both, we grew up watching Debbie Reynolds movies as kids. And we have been Star Wars fans since the San Diego Comic Con in 1976. I still have my Star Wars T-Shirt from then! I believe the wife told me she signed this when she was working on The Burbs Movie in Los Angeles in 1989. Autograph is bright and bold, see pics. Book size is approx. 9" X 6". 223 pages. Jacket has wear from decades of shelf display, see pics. Book bottom edges have some dings from the 1989 Santa Cruz earthquake, see pics. Its her debut novel. No rips or tears, see pics. No stains or mold, see pics. Its a semi-autobiographical work about her own experiences with drug addiction and her life with her famous actress mom Debbie Reynolds. The novel offers a candid, humorous, and insightful look into the life of a young actress navigating Hollywood, substance abuse, and family issues. It was highly received and made into a screenplay by herself for the 1990 film of the same name, starring Meryl Streep. RIP dear Lady, you are missed.
