Beige cloth with gilt lettering on a blue panel to the spine; a color pictorial of a horse pasted to the front board, surrounded by a broad blue frame; and with a single-rule blue border on the front board. Edges of the leaves are stained blue. Pictorial end papers. Illustrated throughout with water colors by Wesley Dennis. Interior pages clean, unmarked; one page has slight wrinkling. A fine copy in a good tan board slipcase, with an illustrated title label mounted to the front panel. Slip case has frayed edges at corners and a blue spot on lower. Printed by Zeese-Wilkinson Co. and bound by H. Wolff Book Manufacturing Company.
