Octavo (24.25cm); slate paper-covered boards and blue cloth backstrip, with title label mounted to front cover; [13],14-398,[2]pp. Briefly inscribed by Roth on the title page. A few tiny scuffs to backstrip, faint sticker residue to upper front cover, else Near Fine. Roth's sixteenth novel, winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction in 1994. The advance issue is ubiquitous, but we've seen very few signed or inscribed.
