Intrigued by Faulkner's idiosyncratic handwriting, a college friend of Faulkner's step-daughter Victoria asked Faulkner to write out her sorority pledge for her which she framed without reading. When she later examined the pledge she found that Faulkner had re-written and lengthened the pledge to his own liking. This obscure limited edition reproduces the manuscript, prints the text separately and tells the story of the circumstances under which this occurred. An amusing piece of Faulkner ephemera.
